PT-141 (bremelanotide) is a melanocortin receptor agonist evaluated in phase 3 trials for acquired generalized hypoactive sexual desire disorder in premenopausal women.

In two identical phase 3 RECONNECT trials, bremelanotide increased FSFI desire-domain scores and reduced desire-related distress versus placebo.
