Bacteriostatic water is the standard diluent used to reconstitute lyophilised research peptides. Each multi-dose vial contains 10 mL of water with 0.9% benzyl alcohol (9 mg/mL) as a bacteriostatic preservative, which allows a reconstituted vial to be drawn from more than once during a research protocol.
Composition: Water, benzyl alcohol 0.9% (9 mg/mL). CAS 7732-18-5 (water), CAS 100-51-6 (benzyl alcohol). Specification per batch record.
Storage: Store at 20-25°C. Do not freeze. Keep the vial closed and protect from light.
Research use only. Not for human consumption, veterinary use, or medical applications. This product is not a drug and is not offered for any therapeutic purpose.
